Monepantel, a Sheep Dewormer, Investigated for Lymphoma and Other Cancers

On this week’s episode of DOG CANCER ANSWERS we speak to Kim Agnew, veterinarian and principal investigator for PharmAust’s clinical trials examining monepantel. Dogs with lymphoma who are not being treated with chemotherapy are getting the sheep dewormer … and results.
It’s early days, and this simple and non-toxic medication is not about to replace CHOP any time soon … but it may be an excellent option for folks who may want or need to decline chemo protocols and don’t like the side effects of prednisone.
