About Catherine Pfent
Catherine Pfent is an experienced veterinary educator, anatomic pathologist, and researcher. Driven by the desire to empower others, she takes pride in providing educational resources to improve the quality of life of veterinary professionals and the clients and pets they serve.
She holds a DVM from Michigan State University, a PhD from Texas A&M University that was focused on canine oncology, and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. She was previously the Director of the Blinn College Veterinary Technology Program.
Currently, Dr. Pfent is a Veterinarian Specialist at BluePearl Pet Hospice and President of Veterinary Education Solutions.
My Dog
Callisto survived osteosarcoma for seven years after diagnosis. She inspired many people with her love of life and her resilliance after amputation. She faced every event as an opportunity to add joy and excitement to her day (along with everyone else around her).
